Rick WEimer

Rick is a compassionate and experienced professional with dual degrees in Animal and Nutritional Sciences from West Virginia University. With over a decade of experience in the animal health industry, Rick has worked in veterinary clinics and held key roles in inside sales for MWI Animal Health and IDEXX. His deep understanding of animal care and commitment to the human-animal bond fuel his dedication to Animal Soul's mission.

Rick is passionate about supporting pet owners through the grieving process, recognizing the profound love and connection people share with their animal companions.
Outside of his professional work, Rick enjoys life with his wife, Candace, their two dogs, Guinness and Maple, and three cats, Holly, Dutton, and Wednesday. A devoted sports enthusiast, he follows college and professional football and baseball, and enjoys golfing in his free time. 

Rick also proudly serves in the United States Navy Reserve and cherishes the opportunity to travel and discover new places with his family
